Oldman River valley in Southern Alberta

Under new ownership

A Family Campground, Built for Relaxation.

Rivers Edge started as a dream to share the magic of the Oldman River with everyone who needed a place to slow down, breathe deep, and reconnect.

How It All Started

We fell in love with this stretch of the Oldman River ten years ago when we got married. We love living here so much that we decided to buy the campground next door. As new owners we have big plans to expand the park from play areas to yearly sites. We have enjoyed meeting all of the people we have so far, and could not be more excited to meet more in the years to come!

Rivers Edge Campground opened its gates with a simple mission: give families a beautiful, well-kept place to unplug, explore, and make memories together. No frills, no fuss — just the river, the fire, and the big Alberta sky.

We're a family operation. We live on-site, we know our guests by name, and we take pride in keeping every site clean, every shower hot, and every campfire ready. When you stay with us, you're not a booking number — you're a neighbour.

What we believe

The Rivers Edge Way

Family First

Everything we do is designed with families in mind — safe swimming areas, kids' programming, and sites that work for everyone from toddlers to grandparents.

Leave It Better

We care deeply about the Oldman River and the land around it. We practice and encourage Leave No Trace principles, and we work to keep the river clean for the next generation.

Genuine Hospitality

We're on-site every day. If you need firewood, a fishing tip, or directions to the best swimming hole, just knock. We're happy to help.
